ASSEMBLING THE GLOVES

The trooper gloves turned out to be the easiest part of the putting together the armor. I bought a pair of Mechanix M-Pact gloves from my local Auto store for $24.99. I removed the cloth tag from the sides of the gloves and covered over the M-Pact symbol with the soft side of the velcro, cutting it to fit. The cloth label sewn into the wrist can easily be removed but with the forearm armor in place, it hides it nicely. The elastic cuff also hides underneath the forearm armor.

Mechanix

The Mechanix gloves features are quite impressive for a glove.

Remove this tag

The arrows point to the cloth labels that will be removed.

Velcroed

The cloth label has been removed. The Soft side (loop) velcro has been cut to fit over the M-Pact symbol.

Back plate armor

The elastic loop supplied in the armor kit has been secured to the armor plate with hook velcro. Also below this is a peice of hook velcro the same size and shape that was applied to the M-Pact symbol.

Finished Glove

The finished glove slipped into the elastic loop and armor plate secured to the back of glove.
